MOBILE APP - UX + UI DESIGN
The app that keeps you updated with what to watch, when, and where at all times, all based on viewers' reviews.
Couch Potato brings you all the information about what's on your screen, all the things you want to see, you have seen, or just love them. It enables you to join a social network of TV fans just like you. You can follow your friends' watchlist or just find new ones that have similar tastes in genres like you!
The Problem
People are usually looking for something interesting for them to watch on TV.
And there are super-movie-TV-fans, who are updated with pretty much everything on the screen.
We can find both audiences in many groups all over social media. The one needs the other for help, guidance, and recommendations on what and where to watch.

Here are the main problems I gathered throughout my research:

Too many groups
It is hard to keep track of the activity of any group and it's almost impossible to keep be notified about every new post.

Too many opinions, not enough good recommendations
Most of the time, the user has its own opinion and love for a category. He usually tries to take into consideration the opinions of other users he respects and shares his love with. And yet, he can't be notified on every post they upload.

Hard to keep Track
The user is trying to update his watchlist by adding or removing titles he's already seen or wishes to see. Sometimes he doesn't even remember if he seen it before, and then the title gets back to the list.

Where Can I watch it? And what's the Original title?
The most repetitive questions in all groups or discussions. With so many screen platforms out there today, not everyone is aware of good and interesting content they'd like to watch. And it's impossible to search for good recommendations of content in serval platforms altogether.
Another issue is the title of the show or film. Many people post their recommendations with the translated title, which makes it harder to search for.

The Solution
The app is built on a database from other websites and the updates of approved users. It is also a social network for all the screen viewers and followers.

As a registered user, you can follow the influencers or the users you want to be notified on their posts.
The app itself can suggest other similar profiles the user has things in common with.

To keep things organized and to be sure the user won't be needed to reminds himself time and time again if he saw the title before, he can just mark it as 'Seen' Or 'Unseen', in addition to adding or removing titles from his list.
The search of a title can be done in its original name or translated one. On every title page, there's full information like rating, synopsis, director and cast, etc. It also has a section where it can be seen and the option to see all posts that were uploaded regarding it.
Last but not least, there's a feature of screen rooms. A user can be logged in with his own platform account (Yes, Hot, Netflix, etc.) and join a screening of a movie or an episode with continence discussion.
